Weekday Indoor Cycling Workouts: Indoor Cycling workouts during the week will focus on the fundamentals of cycling, teaching athletes the proper technique and body positioning required to generate power on the bike. T3’s experienced coaches will lead the workouts by instructing athletes on cadence and gearing. Indoor Cycling is a great way to isolate technique and strength issues in the pedal stroke while also teaching athletes the proper bike handling skills. This type of workout is also a great way to maximize your time during the week – tackle longer distances on the bike without the hassles of traffic, flat tires and inclement weather! Each indoor cycling practice is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes in duration and is equivalent to 20 miles of road riding.
Indoor Cycling classes are held at T3’s Performance Training Center (PTC) during the week. Athletes will set up their bikes on bike trainers before the start of practice - bring your bike, shoes and a bike trainer if you have one (if not, T3 has trainers that athletes can borrow). Each practice will be led by a USAT Certified Coach who will take the athletes through a series of intervals to simulate different types of terrain (hills, flat, etc).
What to Bring:

Bike Trainer (optional)
Bike Shoes/Running Shoes

Weekend Group Rides: In addition to the weekly indoor cycling workouts, the T3 Team also rides together as a group on the weekends. Ride distances and locations vary from week to week depending on upcoming races, weather and team events. All rides will include options for beginner cyclists in addition to experienced riders. Please note that this is not a coached ride – riders are responsible for themselves.
