What I think really sets T3 apart is the wonderful spirit of the team.  T3 is a place where we all can gather in the spirit of training and racing and a place where we encourage one another even if we're racing "against" one another.  Even when training can become challenging or difficult, T3 is a place that we all want to come back to day after day.

T3 Running Programs


Weekday Run Practices: T3 Weekly Run Practices include a Specialty Run and a Track Workout. The Specialty Run gives athletes a chance to take advantage of Austin’s hilly terrain for hill repeats, interval training and strength workouts. Track workouts incorporate speed and variety into the athlete’s training regimen and teach athletes to adjust to higher heart rate levels (anaerobic training). All T3 Run Practices are “individualized” based on an athlete’s training goals. For example, an athlete training for a half ironman will do a different number or sets or focus on a holding a different pace than an athlete training for a sprint triathlon. T3 Coaches will be available at all scheduled practices to ensure individual attention and expert feedback on running technique.

The Wednesday PM Track Workouts are held at O'Henry Middle School. Monday Specialty Run Workouts are located at Barton Springs (even months, meet at the "3-Man" Statue) and O'Henry Middle School (odd months).

Weekend Group Runs: In addition to the weekly run practices, T3 Running also includes organized long runs each weekend. These long runs will be organized by distance and pace depending on individual training goals. Weekend Group Runs meet at "The Rock" near Austin High on the Town Lake Trail.
